Marcia Mahoney

Marcia Mahoney - receptionist/secretary, moved to the Ely area in 1996 after owning land and building a cabin here previously. She works in both the surveying and real estate offices as Charlie's assistant. Marcia has a BA from Drake University in Des Moines and brings over 25 years of administrative experience to the Bear Island companies. While living here she met the love of her life, her husband Ted Floyd, who has lived here all his life and works for Bear Island Surveying. They live in the woods with their 2 dogs Skeeter and Sloan, and enjoy fishing, canoeing and kayaking, and even though Marcia thinks he's crazy, Ted loves winter camping and trout fishing in the Quetico.
